A couple of photos from this morning from my doorstep as I was about to go to school, the golden haze behind the silhouetted skyline is because the falling sleet (yes, Winter is here!) was lit up by the sun.
The sun rose between the horizon and the bottom of the large shower cloud over the top providing a wealth of colour and light.
It was only like that for a short spell, as the sun rose above the base of the cloud and all we were left with was sleet, which later turned into the first snowfall of this Winter.
