Hello, and welcome to Maccphoto.co.uk, the online portfolio of Moray-based photographer Chris Milne. Â Here you will be able to browse through some of the many images I have taken across the years of a variety of subjects including aviation, sport and music.

I started taking photos at the beginning of 2006 with an Olympus C730 Ultra Zoom bridge camera and solely photographed aviation. Â After a brief spell with a Panasoniz Lumix FZ7 I made the move to my first Digital SLR as I wasn't happy with the quality of bridge cameras in comparison to DSLRs, so I purchased a Nikon D50 in May 2007 which I replaced with a Nikon D90 at the beginning of 2010.
After my transition to Digital SLR cameras I became interested in photographing different subjects and started going to local football and rugby games. Â I also took an interest in event photography and most recently music photography.
I like to create eye-catching images with my composition skills and also whilst utilising various different editing software.  I like to exploit colour, shape and textures to make interesting abstract photos of subjects that aren't the most exciting to the naked eye.  This aspect of my photography has often been complimented.
 Â
I currently use:-
Nikon D90
Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 VR
Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D
Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8
Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6Â
